These terms govern your use of Peoplo, a cloud HRMS operated by the operator of Peoplo ("we"). By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
Peoplo provides tools for attendance, leave, payroll calculation, onboarding and related people-management tasks. Features may change over time. The service is a tool: payroll figures, statutory deductions and documents it produces are calculated using the rates and rules you configure, and you remain responsible for checking them with your accountant or advisers before relying on them. Peoplo does not file returns or make payments on your behalf.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate information when you sign up. The person who creates a workspace becomes its administrator and is responsible for who is given access, for the roles assigned, and for keeping credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your workspace's accounts. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Free trial, plans and payment
A workspace starts with a free trial of 14 days, limited to a small number of people, and no card is needed. To continue after the trial you choose a paid plan, billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment gateway. Plan limits (such as the number of people) apply. If a payment fails or a plan lapses, the workspace is locked after a short grace period until the subscription is restored; your data is not deleted because of a lock. Taxes may apply. You can cancel at any time from the payment provider's subscription link; access continues to the end of the period already paid.
4. Your data and your responsibilities
You own the data you put into Peoplo and give us permission to process it to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to enter it and for lawful use of it, including informing employees about, and having a lawful basis for, the collection of attendance location, selfies, identity documents and bank details under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break the law or infringe others' rights; use the service to harass or unlawfully monitor people; attempt to access other companies' data or to probe, disrupt or overload the service; upload malware; resell the service without our written consent; or use it to build a competing product by copying it.
6. Third-party services
Some features rely on services you connect or we use, such as a payment gateway, WhatsApp messaging through your own AiSensy account, or biometric devices. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance and may change or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paying customers.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, if there is a security risk, or if required by law. On request after termination we will delete your workspace data, subject to anything we must keep by law.
9. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the service, its software and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use it for your own business during your subscription. Your data stays yours.
10. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or data, or for decisions you make on the basis of figures the service produces, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at the location of the operator's registered office.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it. Material changes will be announced to workspace administrators.
13. Contact
Contact details are available from your workspace administrator.
